Welcome to Mermaid Retreat! A fun, colorful, 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms and loft Sanibel stilted home with a fenced in yard, large private heated pool, and located only minutes from the Gulf of Mexico beaches! This home sleeps up to 9 guests and is located at the east end of the island where you are only a short bike ride to the historical Sanibel lighthouse, fishing pier, island shops and restaurants.
As you walk into this home you are enlightened by the vibrant colors, cozy cottage furnishings, hardwood floors, and the attention to every detail from the carefully selected beach artwork, lamps, bedspreads, and even the door knobs all having a fun creative beach flare!
The master bedroom has a king size bed, walk-in-closet, large flat screen TV, and private master bathroom with a walk-in shower and double vanity. It has a private sitting deck and walk-out access to the main spacious back deck that views the swimming pool below.
There is a guest bedroom room off the living room which opens up and can be used as a den for extra living room space. This room has a day trundle bed. The second guest bedroom has a queen size bed, small remote TV/VCR combo. Walk up the spiral staircase to a fun sleeping loft which has a twin size daybed, queen size bed and small TV/VCR combo.
Retreat down to the large private heated pool, throw some grouper on the gas BBQ and enjoy true island living. This owner provides beach chairs, beach towels, a beach umbrella, beach wagon, 4 adult bikes, and wireless internet for your convenience. The beautiful shell filled beaches are only a 5 minute walk away (approximately 150 yards) making this truly the perfect beach retreat for you and your family!
